The Daywalkers Collective is an Actor-Musician theatre company with members from the East-Midlands, Hong Kong and Cornwall.
Our aim is to create high quality, original folk music and theatre that entertains our audience whilst also raising awareness to the issues our shows revolve around. We have been working on our latest show ‘The Snare & Feral’ for the past year and a half, recently debuting it at the Amplify Theatre Festival in Nottingham.
We love to share our work with others and host FolkTale events showcasing our original music along with other up-and-coming folk musicians in the industry.

Jon
Writer & Musician
Jon is a writer, musical director, and performer. He feels very fortunate to combine these disciplines in a single project with his fellow Daywalkers.
The Daywalkers is by no means his only creative project, but it couldn’t exist without him. He loves jazz, the wilderness, and Stephen Chow movies.
-
Naomi
Naomi’s instruments of choice are cello, piano, guitar and voice. She first explored folk music through her sister's influence, singing round the piano together as they were growing up.
Naomi's background is originally in classical music, which then developed into musical theatre and actor musicianship (training at Guildford School of Acting). The Daywalkers Collective has provided the perfect place to practice her creativity in her music, acting and harmony skills.

Emily
Emily grew up playing music and scripting her very obliging sisters into shows she had written as a child. She then took these childhood passions to drama school where she trained as an Actor Musician at Guildford School of Acting. After graduating, Emily spent 4 years performing in Actor Musician theatre productions.
She is now pursuing writing and devising actor musician work because she believes there should be more of it in the world! Emily plays the saxophone, accordion, piano and loves to sing jazz and folk.

Jem
Jem would wake up most of his family singing in the morning. Then from school talent shows to performing at the Royal Opera House he continued to play, perform and sing in music and theatre throughout his life.
Jem currently works as a freelance musician and is also a brilliant cook. The Daywalkers are very grateful for this particular skill!
